About Bly and Son
Here at Bly and Son we pride ourselves in giving the client what they want, from servicing your classic, to small paint jobs, to full classic car restorations, no job is too big or too small. All classics catered for, from the E-type to modern classics like the Mk1 Golf GTi, and Mk1 Capri. A family business started in 2016, we are a small team dedicated to creating and restoring interesting cars that put a smile on our clients faces when finished. We also do servicing and bodywork on modern cars for the local community.
Mark Bly
I’ve never been a sporty person because I fractured my back when I was younger as a kid. Although it doesn’t physically affect me now it created a special bond between me and my Dad and what I missed out in sport we shared in cars. My first love was a Mark1 mars red Golf GTI campaign. Hot Hatch. – And this is why it lives in our logo.
A passion for life
Getting the right staff with the right passion, working in old barns and back to hands-on repair basics. It doesn’t suit everyone. A steep learning curve of doing things properly and not cutting corners so your car can be enjoyed for years and years to come.
The “A” Team
It’s not a quick fly-by-night – Its an all-in long term relationship. We want to look after you the client and enjoy the experience rather than just “boom” done. Although we do quicker jobs. Cars are treated as if they are our own. We are not prepared to cut corners. Some cars surprise you more than others. We photo everything as we go along. Its nice for the client but also backs up everything we’ve done.
