Who we’re looking for…

  • Bly & Son Classics are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team.

    Our workshop works on a wide variety of classic, vintage and specialist vehicles, carrying out everything from individual repairs to extensive restoration projects.

    The role will involve automotive welding, metal repairs and fabrication, including repairing existing bodywork and producing replacement sections and components where required.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Have experience in automotive welding and fabrication

    • Be confident carrying out metal repairs and fabrication work

    • Be able to work accurately from existing panels, components and vehicle structures

    • Have excellent attention to detail

    • Take pride in producing neat, high-quality work

    • Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team

    • Have an interest in classic and specialist vehicles

    With the variety of vehicles that come through our workshop, this is an opportunity to work on some genuinely interesting and varied restoration projects.

  • Bly & Son Classics are looking for an experienced Panel Beater / Paint Technician to join our team.

    We work on a wide variety of classic, vintage and specialist vehicles, from smaller repairs and ongoing maintenance through to extensive restorations.

    The role will involve a mixture of panel beating, body repairs, panel preparation, paint preparation and refinishing, with a strong focus on achieving a high-quality finish.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Have experience in panel beating, bodywork and automotive paint

    • Be confident carrying out repairs and preparation to a high standard

    • Have excellent attention to detail

    • Take pride in producing high-quality work

    • Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team

    • Have an interest in classic and specialist vehicles
