Subaru Impreza WRX Turbo with Prodrive Performance Package (PPP)

WRX models of this era are becoming increasingly scarce, and examples such as this with just one owner from new are exceptionally rare. This car has had one owner from new and has covered only 29,650 miles. It also benefits from a dealer-fitted Prodrive Performance Package, complete with certificate dated 01/11/2003 at 1,128 miles.

The Prodrive Performance Package includes a recalibrated engine management system, high-flow intercooler hose, and stainless steel sports exhaust silencers. These enhancements increase peak power to 265PS at 6,000rpm, up from the standard 225PS at 5,600rpm, while torque is increased by 16% to 348Nm at 3,200rpm.

To complement the additional performance, the car is fitted with 18-inch OZ Racing Superleggera alloy wheels, paired with matching Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.

The car retains its original tax disc holder from the supplying dealer, Beechdale Subaru in Derby, and has an excellent service history with 11 service stamps, 9 of which are from a Subaru main dealer. A cambelt change was carried out when the car was six years old.

In terms of condition, the bodywork appears straight and well aligned, with consistent panel gaps and minimal stone chipping to the front end. The leather interior is very clean and comfortable, showing minimal wear to the seats and switchgear. The car is free from any unpleasant odours and appears never to have been smoked in or abused. The rear parcel shelf remains intact and uncut.

The wheels are in good overall condition, with only the nearside front wheel showing some kerb damage. The tyres have good tread depth, although they are beginning to show early signs of age.

The car comes with a current MOT, which includes one advisory noting that the underside has been undersealed, likely as a preventative measure against corrosion.

On the road, the car performs exactly as it should, with no warning lights or unwanted noises. The brakes and steering are precise, and the gearbox operates smoothly. Acceleration is strong and linear, with no hesitation.

It is recommended that the car is run on Shell V-Power fuel to maintain optimal performance, although given its rarity, it is expected to appeal to collectors and see limited future use.
